Ingrid Baars (b. 1969) is an enigmatic artist/photographer from the Netherlands where she got her basic art training at the Willem the Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Her kudo's include the 1997 Illustration Year Award and the 2008 top award, category Photography of the Art Directors Club Netherland (ADCN) and numerous nominations.

In 2007 a 142 page monography was published featuring a selection of her work from 2000 to 2007.

As an artist she is quite successful, exhibiting and selling her work through galleries.

Her work not only stands out because of her unique and edgy images but also because she is a solitary creative from shoot to final result.

Ingrid Baars is currently working and living in Antwerp, Belgium.
