Biography

After graduating from Nottingham University with a BA Hons Degree in Photography, Jon moved to London where he immediately began assisting some of the biggest photographers of the time, such as Nick Knight, David Sims, Mert and Marcus and eventually took a full time position with Sølve Sundsbø, who he remained with for four years.

It was during this period that Jon developed his own visual language and technical skill, drawing inspiration from the wealth of creative photographic techniques, lighting and computer manipulation that he experienced on a day-to-day basis, for some of the most prestigious brands and respected agencies in the industry.

He is now one of the leading creatives of his craft, jumping between Beauty and Fashion with his own very visual and graphic take on the subject. His editorial commissions include, Harpers Bazaar, iD, Gloss, GQ, Exit and Wonderland. He has also shot advertising campaigns for clients such as Givenchy, Lancome, Clarins, Covergirl, Kerastase, Thierry Mugler, Pantene, Aveda, Fauchon, Pepsi and Boots No7.

Outside of his editorial and advertising commissions, Jon is constantly working on personal projects which he hopes to exhibit in the near future.
