Marcus Palmqvist, Swedish Fashion photographer and Director.

Originally from Borås in western Sweden, he moved to London to study photography at LCP and then on to Paris where he assisted some of fashions top international photographers. Now he is based in Stockholm but is never far from Paris, London and New York.

Marcus' fashion imagery is a rare mixture of raw energy and romantic beauty. He is always challenging himself to find new ways and styles, working in intuitive and spontaneous ways to find beauty, violence, energy depending on the theme and client.

He has recently started directing films; he has within the first year of filmmaking made 10 short films and music videos. Marcus works with clients such as Whyred, Maison Martin Margiela and Swedish singer Lykke Li. He is doing most filmwork together with Frode Fjerdingstad as a duo called frode&marcus.

His still work has been seen in magazines such as Dazed and Confused, Another magazine, Lula, Bon, Wallpaper, Jalouse and more.
He has had major art exhibitions and taken part of film festivals in Tokyo, Barcelona, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Stockholm and Oslo.
